Invitation Etiquette: The Mothers

If you're wondering exactly who should get bachelorette invitations, consider first who the bride will want at her party. For example, should you include or exclude the mothers? The answer is that if the bride wants moms there and the party itself is not going to make them uncomfortable (i.e., too much loud -- or lewd -- partying and drinking), inviting them is a good idea. If you all decide it's best not to invite them, you may with to supplement the gathering with a brunch on the day of an evening party. That way, no one is left out.
